Minister of Madhya Pradesh appealed to the agricultural scientists to formulate
strategies including the balanced application of soil nutrients from inorganic
and organic sources for long term sustainability of soil health and crop
production.
He was
inaugurating the 75th Annual Convention of the Indian Society of
Soil Scientists at Silver Jubilee Auditorium of CIAE Bhopal. He also suggested
that the scientific findings needs to be so framed as to be easily understood
by farmers. The Minister is an ardent supporter of the use of renewable sources
to meet the farm power requirement.
