About 10-15 kg of organic residues is generated in the guesthouse kitchen and it is being recycled through anaerobic fermentation to generate biogas. One RCC modular bio gas plant of 3 cu.m. capacity has been constructed and commissioned in CIAE guest house for utilization of the unutilized kitchen by-products for conversion into bio gas. The bogas is being utilized to partially meet the cooking gas requirements in the kitchen.
