Agricultural Technology Information Centre at CIAE, Bhopal
was started from November 1999 to provide the required technology information,
advisory
services and supply of prototypes and farm equipments
through single window delivery system.
v To provide a ‘single window delivery’
system for technology and products for accelerating the rate of adoption and for
easy accessibility to end-users.
v To facilitate direct access for the
visitors of the institutional resources available in terms of technology,
advice, products etc. for reducing technology dissemination losses.
v To help farmers and entrepreneurs in
problem solving and decision-making.
v To create a strong linkage between
different research divisions / units and users of the technology
v To provide an elaborative views of
improved technologies through published literature and other communication
materials such as audio and video facility.
v To provide mechanism for feed back from
users to the institute.

FACILITY
The staff available at the ATIC includes manager, two technical officers
and two technicians. In addition to the above staff the services of the
scientists and technical officers of the institute are also available in ATIC
for replying to the queries of the farmers, manufacturers, entrepreneurs and
other visitors as and when required.
The manager, ATIC is also assisted by the scientists and technical
officers of the institute by whom it is easy to show different activities of the
institute to the farmers and other visitors. The farmers and other stakeholders
visiting to ATIC in-group are being advised through different audio visual aids.
To fulfill the objectives and accomplish the activities of the ATIC
there is very good facilities of demonstration / display unit, sale unit and
audiovisual hall.
