The Computer Aided Design Cell of the Institute is well equipped with computers and CAD software for design and development of new equipment and design refinement of existing equipment. The Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire CAD software are installed in the Cell for solid modeling of components and assemblies of agricultural equipment. Structural Analysis (FEA) of components  of different equipment can also be done using CAD software. Large format plotter and printers are available for creation of high quality design documentation. The Cell is fully equipped for preparation of production drawing of agricultural equipment for transfer of technologies to manufacturers. The Institute has wide experienced faculty for imparting training on Computer Aided Design.
