Material Testing Laboratory

The lab is equipped with abrasive testing equipment for dry and wet abrasive wear tests, Eutectic Castolin Make Thermal Spraying System, Shot Peening Fixture and Universal Testing Machine. Abrasive test machines assist in the studies on accelerated wear testing under simulated conditions of critical fast wearing components of agricultural equipment. These studies help in enhancing the service life of agricultural machines. The facilities have been useful for various research projects on material related studies of critical fast wearing components of agricultural machines. |
